The best brand of MSM- nutritional sulfur is Vita-Flex. It is the longest used MSM, with the most research behind it and has been used for years in the horse industry. In the last few years, it has been made available to the human market, due to the patent running out, and everyone is scrambling to manufacture and sell MSM.

Not all MSM are of high quality and some are imported from overseas and do not come up to standards. I can not impress upon you enough, that using the highest quality, 99% pure human grade form of MSM is essential for the benefits you are wanting to achieve. Especially with HOD cases, or Giardia situations...I do not recommend any other brand of MSM - Nutritional Sulfur except Vita-Flex. You can often purchase it from a horse tack shop - and do not buy a combination product only MSM-nutritional sulfur. MSM - Dosage for Canines for Vita Flex Brand

1 - 20lbs 1/4 teaspoon
20 - 45lbs - 1/2 tsp.
45 - 90lbs - 3/4 tsp.
over 90 1 tsp. and 1/4 tsp. for every 25 lbs over that.

These amounts twice a day for 10 days, if you see if any relief you can move down to once a day. It is OK to keep on a double dose indefinitely if it takes that amount for relief. For growth or orthopedic problems (HOD, Ocd, Pano, Wobblers, Hip Dysplasia, Arthritis, etc), stay on double dose indefinitely.
