Vaccine reactions or vaccine mediated responses are nothing new in dogs. Vaccine manufacturer's refuse to acknowledge there is a problem and we are losing dogs daily to adverse reactions to combination vaccines and rabies given to soon.

Over the years I have come to learn how far reaching this problem is in other breeds as well as my own. This regime is what I recommend to my puppy buyers. The combination of these two things give us a much better chance of avoiding vaccine reactions because it supports immune function on these young and underdeveloped immune system and it detoxifies the body as well, nothing in life is a guarantee, but this is a step in the right direction.

The Purdue Vaccine Research funded by the Great Dane Club of America has shown us that it is the carrier in vaccines is recognized by the body as a toxin and therefore, I have found that being on probiotics, dietary enzymes and Ox-E-Drops helps to prevent these reactions but boosting immune function and detoxifying the body from toxins.

The BLACKWATCH CORE 4 PROGRAM are very important to start puppies on as soon as they are starting to wean. This is what we have done for many years to prevent vaccine reactions. Now nothing is a guarantee, but I can tell you that of the kennels I know and work with, we have never had a vaccine reaction if the puppies are on the CORE 4 supplements ahead of time.

What is in the CORE 4?

The CORE 4 is a series of 4 critical supplements which come in 3 products/bottles and they are necessary to enhance your current feeding program and promote wellness for your pet. The CORE 4 is the most "basic" supplements that all my pets are fed on a daily basis (including our human family).

The CORE 4 consists of the following:

1) Probiotics - a blend of beneficial bacteria also known as "intestinal flora" which boosts the immune function and protects the lining of the gut, helping to prevent pathogenic overgrowth (bacteria/fungus/yeasts) which compromises the protective lining of the gut. When this happens there is the potential for Leaky Gut Syndrome and Toxic Gut which can lead to bloat, compromised health, systemic yeast infections and suppressed immune systems.This is true in humans too.

Probiotics that have a component of some of the microorganisms being microencapsulated is very important, so they able to pass the stomach juices and break down further in the intestines to help resolve difficult digestive issues caused by Candida, Coccidia, Giardia, parasite infestation, E coli, Salmonella, Clostridium, and Herpes Virus. 2) Digestive Enzymes-there are many enzymes that help to break down the food for better digestion. The three that are of most importance are amylase (carbohydrates) protease (protein), lipase (fats) and they are often found in combination Probiotic products such as the BacPakPlus, 4 in 1 Probiotics, and Filling N The Wholes. The are critical in getting the most out of your nutrition.

3) Dietary Enzymes - are from whole living fresh foods and sprouted foods have the most activity. Only in whole fresh foods are the enzymatic qualities still in tact. Using dietary enzymes in a diet is one way to put the "living component" back into a processed dog food. Dietary enzymes have strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory properties and they detoxify the body quickly, which speeds any healing and repair at a cellular level. 4) Ox-E-Drops - The primary reason this liquid concentrate is in The Blackwatch Core 4, is because it helps to keep a healthy the pH in the gut so pathogenic bacteria and fungus such as Candida Albicans(yeast overgrowth) does not over growth and make the dogs more prone to bloat and systemic yeast infections. Ox-E-Drops is a safe and stable aqueous compound which offers many internal and topical uses. It has powerful oxidizing properties that act as a bactericide, viricide and fungicide. Because Ox-E-Drops decontaminates water, it should be taken with you when you travel, no need to haul dog water from home. It can be used internally and in a vaporizer (30 drops to 1 gallon) for respiratory problems in dogs and cats. Many rescues keep their cattery free from respiratory problems with the use of vaporizers and Ox-E-Drops.

INCORPORATING THE CORE 4 SUPPLEMENTS:

When you start to use the The Blackwatch CORE 4 Supplement Kit to your daily feeding routine, please add each supplement 2-3 days apart until they are used to everything, then you can use them all together daily. Always ease into new supplements.

Start with:

1) Probiotic/Digestive Enzymes combo- 2 days later add:
2) Ox-EDrops in the food (diluted in a little water) and a few drops in the drinking water -see bottle for dosage. 2 days later add:
3) Nzymes - dietary enzymes - in a pet treats or granulars form.

Note: But due to the heavy duty detoxification qualities from the Nzymes phytonutrients, do not double dose the pet right away or you will have some lose stools, lethergy etc- I suggest working up to a normal dose over a week's time, then you can double dose for two weeks during the detoxification process, then go back to a normal dosage, daily. The last thing you need is to have them going to the bathroom in the middle of the night or in a crate while you are at work because they detoxified too fast.

I give all the supplements in the AM feeding and once they are used to them you can too, but my suggestion is to divide them in AM and PM feedings, until their body's are used to new foods and supplements.
